The Picture of Dorian Gray

Come see the wonderful Sarah Snook as she aces yet another dazzling role, this time playing all 26 characters in Oscar Wilde’s only novel, the gothic horror The Picture of Dorian Gray. Coming our way fresh from the genius HBO TV series Succession, Snook’s reputation is already sealed thanks to a host of awards for her work. Theatre tickets for The Picture of Dorian Gray whisk you to a sinister world where one young man’s vanity sees him sell his soul to the devil in return for everlasting beauty. In the meantime his portrait, painted by an artist friend who was obsessed with Gray’s looks, steadily decays in the attic, becoming older and uglier. Prepare to be thoroughly spooked by Snook!

This isn’t just a great plot. The production is fresh and new, a revolutionary staging created by the Sydney Theatre Company’s Kip Williams. Design is by Marg Horwell, Lighting Design by Nick Schlieper, Composition and Sound Design by Clemence Williams, and Video Design by David Bergman. The London season is produced by Michael Cassel, Adam Kenwright, Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen, Daryl Roth, Amanda Lipitz and Henry Tisch, and Jonathan Church. And the whole thing is enhanced in the most extraordinary way by on-stage cameras and video footage. Unforgettable.

Absolutely a must see!
Best performance I have EVER seen in the West End and Broadway! I don’t want to boast but I have seen a lot of shows in the last 30 years.
