The Tiger Who Came To Tea

This is the tenth London season of the gorgeous musical, The Tiger Who Came to Tea. The show is based on the award winning illustrated children’s book by Judith Kerr, and adults love it as much as the children they’re accompanying! The story has been beautifully adapted for the stage with music and lyrics by the talented children’s theatre dramatist David Wood OBE. He thrilled us with stage adaptations of everything from Shaun the Sheep to Fantastic Mr Fox, The BFG, The Witches, Meg and Mog, Spot, The Gingerbread Man and Babe the Sheep Pig.

This is the delightfully funny story of a tea-drinking tiger that drops into a little girl’s home for tea, and it’s packed with family-size surprises, on stage at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 8th July to 1st September 2024. Expect cheerful mayhem and magic, sing-along songs, fabulous effects, a tiger your kids will want to invite home for tea at your place, and enough chaos to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Time Out London says it’s a delight from start to finish, the Mail on Sunday says it’s a rare and grrreat achievement, and the Sunday Telegraph describes it as full of roar talent.
